all seeing vs all knowing?

Topics about God from the viewpoint of atheists and Christians.

all seeing vs all knowing?

Postby Spybabe7 on Sat Jul 19, 2008 11:50 pm

First of all... i am going to have to study Agent's post... it may take me a couple of DAYS....

hey AGENT... i am going to try to rephrase that post for myself, in words that us mere mortals can understand! (just giving ya a hard time :) )

I think one of the points you were trying to make is that the difference between 'all seeing' and 'all knowing' is that the 'all knowing' God actually has a relationship (interaction) with us? And, the fact that He knows us makes us valuable and worth knowing?

If we were the only entities that 'knew' ourselves, well, that would just not be saying much. But the fact that we are 'known' by God (who is some bigger being than ourselves) gives us value and worth?

Is that one of your points?

Just want to make sure I am understanding this correctly.
