My name is Christine. I'm 22, and I recently graduated from college with a BA in Communication, concentrating in TV and Film Production. I'm going back this fall for a 2nd degree in pre-med because I have vocational ADD and want to be a doctor.
I was born in England, lived in Oklahoma for awhile, lived in Saudi Arabia for 7 years, and now reside in Louisiana, where my mom is from. My dad is a computer programmer, and my mom is a real estate agent.
I very much like to read. My tastes ebb and flow, and I am currently really into non-fiction books, especially about entrepreneurs, finance, and technology. But I do love me some good fiction, too.
I really dig photography. Both taking pictures, and looking at them. I like going to antique stores and buying old photos, like from the 1800s and early 1900s and pondering about how pictures of loved ones end up in a thrift store.
In addition to reading and watching movies, I play drums. And Rock Band. Lots and lots of Rock Band. I have a lot of interests, and when I become interested in something, I have a tendency to immerse myself into the subject. As a result, I can knit, juggle, make balloon animals, know an uncommon amount of medical knowledge, and tons of other stuff. Basically, my hobby is to know a lot about everything. Ever. I dislike not knowing about something. In my circle of friends, I am known as "The Logical One." People regularly come to me for advice and inquiries, as well as how much of a tip to leave. *For some reason, calculating a tip is hard for most people...* I'm also known as the "The Blunt One" which you guys have seen in any thread requiring logic. I say what I mean, regardless of whose feelings it may hurt. Not that I am malicious. It's just that I like being criticized because it helps me learn. For me, the blunt truth and criticism is not something that can upset me, so I don't filter myself for people. Then again, I don't offer anything unless I am invited.
I work at Blockbuster, which I love. Easy job, decent pay, free movies, and good bosses. Love it.
