My resolution is 1024 x 748.
It's not really that they are small...they just have so much going on in them, the smaller they are, the more your eyes try to process the tiny print, etc... as well as the darkness of the background.
You have about 150 extra pixels of room to the right without stretching anything, so that might help a little bit...
It's not a big deal.
And you might want to put more space in between the pictures and the text. The text gets lost since your eyes are automatically drawn to the brightest spot on the screen, which is the pictures.
It's looking good, though.

Oh wait... I was thinking of the Neighbourhood studios website... nevermind me I don't know what I'm talking about...lol
Edit: Oh, I kinda got lost on the topic, so ya I was talking about the NS website... I got confused when you quoted my post and asked me how navigation would be easer and I thaught it was your site...

The new site should be as easy as it gets as far as navigation goes. And thanks for the comments, they're all being discussed and integrated into the overall design!

He told me that he would have the site ready in a month or so...in that case I decided to redesign the home page.
