John the Canadian Guy

I hope by all my persistent emphasis on CANADA you realize I'm CANADIAN. :P I am John, born in Calgary and raised in both Calgary and Las Vegas. I know, Vegas, shiny lights and naughty things galore, but I probably saw less of it than a person staying there for only 1 day. For the most part, I have lived in Calgary though (and I live there now), so I consider myself a Calgarian, through and through. I am in Grade 7, so probably younger than most everyone here. I've probably watched my Youtube hero Connor's videos more than all of you put together.

I swim, I run and I bike, but I do none of those well, so I'm a kind of pathetic triathlete. I used to play soccer, and have tried out for basketball a good many times but never made it on the team, perhaps this year will be my lucky year. I'm trying out against Grade 8s and 9s though, so my chances are slim. Again. I'm hoping to make Track and Field and Cross Country too, which are much easier to make, but I am in the fastest Junior High (middle school to you Americans :P) in the whole of Canada, so it won't be THAT easy.

Reading, video games, Youtube, Facebook, those are my indoor hobbies, TV less so, as I can't really get into it except for a few shows (The Office, Arrested Development, Simpsons, Corner Gas, Seinfeld). Ok, that's quite a few, but the channels I have never have any of those except Simpsons and Seinfeld occasionally.

Now, I'm losing interest in writing this, and dinner smells and sounds soon, so I must be off. So long!
