New Camcorder?

Hey guys i was thinking that in about half a year or so i might upgrade my current JVC GZ-MG135.
Anyways I've been looking at the Sony HDR-SR11 and that looks nice. I wanted to know if it is worth getting? Are there better ones in the same price range? And also, roughly how much would an external mic for it be? (One that goes into the accessory hub)

I'd look into the canon hv-20 and 30 if I was you. I don't know if it's better or not, I guess it's personal opinion.
Those who believe it can't be done should not hinder the person doing it.

I think panasonic is worth looking into also. I have a nice $350 one and I find ot perfect for my videos.
All I want for Christmas is a 3-6-T a 3-6-T!
