I just got a new HD Panasonic camera. I also have a Riproar webcam from the creation station set.

Let's see...
I own...

A crappy VX1000 with a broken view finder.

A crappy blue tarp and a crappy spandex green screen.

A crappy photo tripod with no liquid heads.

A crappy set of shop lights with garbage bad diffusers.

A crappy shotgun microphone that doesn't really get very good sound.

(I know, it's a lot of crappy stuff but we try to make do)

At school I have access to...

Two broadcast quality Panisonic cameras with teleprompters

Three portable PDX10 cameras with shotgun mics.

One portable PD-150 camera

Portable mixing board.

IDK how many lav mics.

Pro video decks and control room with a five machine FCP edit bay, one cinema display.

A 20 machine FCE edit bay.

At church I use (recently got bumped up to director W00T!!!)...

Crappy real time control room with digital fader board (we broadcast to local cable channel) and four crappy cameras.

At work I use... (depending on where I'm working that day)

XL1-2

GL2

DVX or HVX you name it.

Panisonic P2 camera___ Dreamy eyes...
(I've never had the chance to use it but it's at one of the places I work)
It's a full HD $25,000 package solid state recording, variable frame rate, looks like film, divorce your wife and marry it camera.
Those who believe it can't be done should not hinder the person doing it.

I use a $14 tripod, a $80 digital camcorder with bad battery life, and microsoft movie maker.
