If you ever find yourself working in a production pipeline you will retract that statement, I'm betting cash on it. FCP has tools for syncing audio, off line editing and OGG support that Vegas or any other armature video app can't even touch. Sure for standard single machine video editing Vegas pwns. If you wind up on a network and need to track assets while keeping file sizes down and import audio from a different source for every single gerflipping shot? You will come back to FCP and Avid begging for mercy.

Wow... but I still think that Vegas can do all of that. It can easily work offline, it can sync audio, and it can import OGG vorbis files. I still dont know of what it can't do.

I think that a lot of pro-grade video editing programs do everything. You can only have so many features.

I don't know much about vegas, but is it better then Blender 3D? I wouldn't know, anyone else here use both?

Now that... is an impossible comparison because they are completely different. I mean totally. I used both of them. Blender is for creating 3D objects and rendering them to 2d images where Vegas if for taking video clips and splitting them and combining them into sequences, usually called editing. They are two completely different programs.
