Adding Stock Footage to Your Media

Postby envisageworks on Wed Oct 31, 2007 2:19 pm

Hey, thanks for using the forum. You can apply the layers by getting rid of the black in the clip. How do you do this? You need an effect called a Chroma Keyer. This can be found in many programs, and is used for green-screens and blue-screens. What this effect will do is remove all of one color from every frame of the video. After you set up this effect, you modify it to remove the black colors instead of the green, add a little bit of blur, then apply it on top of a video. Search Chroma Key in Google. Many programs will do this. The one I use is Vegas Video. Also look at Adobe After effects. :)
