Does anyone know of a good fire-making plug-in for after effects?

No, but Wax 2.0 has a particle emulater, and if you make a picture for a particle, is is good. If there was an attackment option I would show you a fire I made, but if you want I can send you a video of fire made in wax.

The particles themselves are pictures I made when I was bored, so don't think it's limmited to this quality.

Looking pretty good for the price! How long is rendering time?

There are a lot of rendering settings to get use to. If you do it right by setting the size down, maybe take out the ray tracing it will take about 2-5 minutes. However for better quality, if you set it to be bigger, and use raytracing and shadows, it can take hours. Over all it depends on many things. But this one took about 30-45 seconds because I turned off the raytracing and did not use shadows.

By prise you mean it's good for a free program right? Incase you got me wrong and thaught it was a premium program. I get that alot.
