Like John says, the most logical thing for them to do is to equally divide land and share Jerusalem. Since it is the Holy City for both religions, neither will be happy if the other has full control. Still, even if they do split it, it is going to take tolerance and a lot of time for them to ever be truly peaceful.

This is why ignorance and intolerance masked by religion needs to be abolished.

For the higher ups, yes it is about greed and pride. For the rest of them, however, it's about intolerance and ignorance.

This is such a huge controversy. On another forum I administer, a member from the Arab Emprites posted a video New Year's day that was completely anti-American and pro-Palestinian. We had to close the topic before it became a flame war, but suffice it to say that I am fed up with the bickering over the past decades.

I would suggest demilitarizing both countries, and put the UN in charge of policing things for now. It clearly isn't a good idea for these countries to have missiles.
